The Circelation 2006 programme took place in Leeds in March and April. There were four weekend courses and four week-long courses aimed at artists working in contemporary circus theatre/performance. The daytime programme was supplemented by evening 'Soirées'.

The theme of the 2006 programme was What’s The Story, giving participants the opportunity to explore a range of artforms including spoken word, experimental theatre, text-based theatre, clowning, dance theatre, improvisation …

The laboratories were programmed by Chenine Bhathena, working alongside Leila Jancovich, who brought together a remarkable selection of performers and directors from Britain and around the world to inspire and motivate participants.

The programme consisted of:
Two week-long workshops for directors
Two week-long workshops for circus performers
Four weekend workshops for performers
