The second set of laboratories in our three year programme took place in Leeds in April 2005. There were four weekend courses and four week-long courses for artists working in the realm of contemporary circus theatre/performance.

Tutors for the 2005 performers programme included a range of established artists who had either co-founded or worked closely with Archaos, Collectif AOC, DV8, Forced Entertainments, Improbable and Legs On The Wall.

Chenine Bhathena programmed the 2005 laboratories, working alongside Leila Jancovich.

The programme consisted of:
Two week-long workshops for circus directors
A week-long workshop for circus performers
Four weekend workshops for performers

There were also evening Soirées - dinners accompanied by themed discussions and with invited guests.
