Visualising narrative: telling stories through bodies in space

This intensive week will be a unique opportunity to take time out and develop the process of moving from page to stage with Lee Simpson and Gavin Marshall.

Ever had a great idea but been unsure how to nurture it into a show? Ever had a great show ruined by an idea that doesn't fit but you couldn't quite get rid of it? Ever been stumped for a way to record and structure the great stuff you generate when devising?

Over five days, Lee and Gavin will explore storyboarding as a technique to aid narrative and visual cohesion, examine our relationship to the material we generate as artists, discover ways to help free us from our preconceptions and create new performance material both from scratch and from existing ideas.
